Our Paisley Art Project
This week in Year 4 the children have been taking part in an art project which is linked to their learning challenge.
To start the project, the children researched the artist Hazret Brown who paints Islamic repeated pattern pieces and looked at the history of the paisley pattern.
The children went on to look at paisley patterns in more detail - in particular at the shapes and colours that are used.
Our final piece of the project was to create our own individual paisley stamps, which we then covered in different paints to create our own repeated pattern paisley prints!
