Leeds Trip
The children really enjoyed their trip into Leeds on Friday to launch their new learning challenge about the city! They started the day by exploring the Leeds Story section of City Museum learning about the history of Leeds from its creation during the Stone Age to its time of rapid growth during the Industrial Revolution. After lunch the children completed part of the Owl Trail and learnt about why there are so many owls around Leeds before making their way to the Arts Library. The children were given a tour of the library and shown some photographs of old Leeds before being taken on a secret tour of the Leeds Tapestry. The trip was a great start to our new learning challenge and we can't wait to learn more about our city!
