Good morning Year 2!
We hope you have all had a super weekend and are ready for home learning this week! Last week was a bit quiet and we didn't receive as much of your work as we normally do. It was very hot so maybe you were all too busy in the paddling pool! We know how hard it can be to keep motivated but we can do this Year 2! Three more weeks!
Our topic this week is pollution and there are some really great tasks where you can learn about plastic pollution, recycling and climate change. Keep up with My Maths as you will be consolidating important addition and subtraction methods which you will need to feel confident with when you move to Year 3. The turtle art project is great fun and we would love to see some of your photos.
This week is also your first transition meeting with your new Year 3 teachers! We're sure you are both excited and maybe a little nervous to meet your new teacher but we can assure you that Miss Lanaway and Miss Sprakes are absolutely lovely and very excited to meet you properly. We will also be there so we look forward to seeing you.
