On Monday, Year 6 created their own experiments which investigated the question 'How do different exercises affect how hard our circulatory system works?'. We learnt how to record our beats per minutes by counting how many times our heart beats per 15 seconds then multiplying the result by 4. The classroom then exploded into life with star jumps, sprinting on the spot, press ups, sit ups and leisurely walks while we tested the theory that the higher the intensity of exercise, the higher the heart rate would be. Next time, we will analyse the results and conclude our experiment.
