Rodley Nature Reserve

 

We had a wonderful trip to Rodley Nature Reserve this week in Year 4. The children thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the activities that we took part in and particularly enjoyed getting to see lots of kingfishers, which we are told is a very rare sight!

The children took part in a nature walk with a team of volunteers who were very knowledgeable and able to answer all of the children's questions before completing a carousel of activities which included bird watching, a bug hunt and pond dipping!
