Chris Mould and Matt Haworth Visit 20.03.23
Competition Winners!
At the start of the half term, Year 5 took part in a competition with the Leeds Library Service to win a visit from the illustrator Chris Mould and animator Matt Haworth which they ultimately won. The children had to firstly, write a script for their trailer about the life of Louis Le Prince before going on to film their trailers using a movie maker app. The children really enjoyed making their trailers and if you would like to view them then you can on Google Classroom.
On Monday, the children were granted their competition winner's visit and Matt and Chris visited them to complete a workshop all about Louis. The children created their won cartoons of Louis Le Prince with Chris and learnt all about animation with Matt.
