Little Red Riding Hood
In this Commando Joe's session, the children had to work as a team to build a bridge with materials from the outdoor construction area. They had a chance to test their bridge, supporting their friends to cross safely and make any necessary adjustments. Then, against the clock, the children had to cross the bridge collecting apples for Grandma. The team that collected the most apples in 3 minutes was the winner. Each team had 3 chances to beat their previous score and even had the chance to get 2 apples at once if they took on the challenge of crossing the bridge sideways. We were very proud of the children's teamwork and resilience whilst doing this challenge.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
