Florence Nightingale 11.01.22

We had an amazing adventure in Year 2 when Florence Nightingale took us back in time to when she looked after wounded soldiers in Scutari Hospital in Turkey in 1854! The children learnt so much about her life and how she managed to become 'The Lady of The Lamp'.

The children weren't very impressed with the smells or the conditions of the hospitals and worked hard as nurses and porters to help Florence clean up the hospitals.
