Looking at the History of the Phone
Year 2 have been learning all about the phone and how it has changed so much over the years. We have learnt that the telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876, although it does look a lot different today! In writing, we have been writing some expanded noun phrases about some old phones. We made sure that we included lots of adjectives and also tried to include some conjunctions. The children really enjoyed looking at the phones and produced some fantastic sentences!
