Year 1 Grandparents Afternoon
As part of our current Learning Challenge, 'What was life like when grandparents were children?', we invited grandparents of Year 1 children into school for the afternoon. We were absolutely overwhelmed by the response and had an amazing 32 grandparents join us! The afternoon was simply incredible and we cannot thank grandparents enough for sharing their stories, photos and memorabilia with us. The children loved the afternoon and clearly learnt an awful lot, so thank you. It was truly wonderful to see the children so engaged and asking relevant questions to further deepen their understanding. We know that this will form one of the children's fondest memories of Springbank!
