Arts Week Final Pieces 12.01.24
For Arts Week, we have been producing a collage illustration of a bird, inspired by the work of British illustrator Tracey English. We practiced our sketching skills to recreate images of a range of bird species. We then developed our own patterns to use as materials for our collage. Finally, we produced our collage bird illustrations. The children's artistic abilities came on amazingly throughout the week, with their understanding of how to use color and texture in a collage improving immensely.
