Sensory Writing 15.11.2022
On Tuesday, Year 4 began our second piece of writing inspired by our class text - The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. In our writing, we will be describing the settings of the wardrobe and Narnia so in order to do so, we needed to live some of the sensations Lucy would feel when she first entered the magical land! We spent our time experiencing the smells of pine and mothballs, the sound and sensation of crunching twigs and even made snow balls in the classroom! The activity really helped the children come up with some amazing vocabulary and we can't wait to read their pieces over the next two weeks!
