Outdoor learning 04.11.20
This week it was the turn of 1W to head outside with Mrs Fletcher. Firstly the children looked at the vegetables that we have been growing in the Year 1 outdoor area - they picked a butternut squash, which is now ripening on the window sill. Then they went to the garden and learnt about different types of leaves before collecting them to make beautiful patterns. The children then chose a leaf and wrote about the colour, shape and size of it back in the classroom.
