World Book Day 03.03.22
Best... day... ever! We have had such a wonderful day celebrating books and reading in Year 1 today. We were so impressed with all the efforts that went into your child's costumes; the children loved showing them off to each other and guessing their characters. This afternoon, we read a story called 'The book with no pictures by B.J. Novak' and the children became authors and wrote their own silly versions. They brought these home with them this afternoon so we hope you enjoyed reading them out loud and saying some very silly words!
The children have also brought home a picture book from our 'class library' this afternoon. This is intended to be shared with and read to your child and can be changed every Friday.
