Author visit 21.11.18

Author Visit - Hilary Robinson

Due to Springbank's work with the library, we were lucky enough to receive a visit from author Hilary Robinson. Year 5 loved this visit as Hilary has written some of our favourite books about the First World War, including a beautiful poetry book called 'Where the Poppies Grow' which is all about life in the Great War. The children had a brilliant time, asking questions and listening to how Hilary goes through the writing process. Some children even got their books signed!
