Gymnastics 05.11.2018
We did our first ever Year 6 Gymnastics lesson today and learnt all about 'flight onto a piece of apparatus'. Children worked with box tops, benches and mats for the first time and tried different methods of getting on and off of the equipment. We talked about how to achieve the aims of the lesson safely and why we needed to make sure we looked out for each other before we started the lesson. The children created some great sequences to move over the apparatus and we will continue this work in weeks to come.
