Year 1 Toy Presentation to Reception

Yesterday we were lucky enough to have a very special visit from Year 1. Year 1 had been very busy last half term creating moving African animal toys so they brought them in to show Reception. Reception loved having the Year 1 in class and spent time with lots of the children hearing how they created their animal toy and asking thoughtful questions. Reception learnt all about levers and different mechanisms and are already excited for Year 1 next year when they'll get to make their own versions.
