Year 6 were incredibly lucky to meet Ella and her creatures from ZooLab on Tuesday. The children were taken on a voyage with Charles Darwin through South and Central America, the Caribbean, the Galapagos Islands, South Africa and finally, back to the UK - meeting lots of friends along the way. The children met Gilbert the Giant African Land Snail, Curly the Honduran Curly Haired Spider, Jake the Carolina Corn Snake and Sushi the Rat. During our journey, we learnt about Darwin and his Theory of Evolution which helped to extend our science learning. As you can see from some of the pictures, the children were fascinated by the animals and took a lot from the session!
