This week, Year 6 have been working on their diary writing skills by putting themselves in the shoes of Anne Frank. We spent time looking at the historical context of Anne's move into the secret Annex in Amsterdam. We then explored the Annex using the virtual tour on the Anne Frank Museum website (Linked below if anyone is interested!). From this, we explored the emotions that would have been felt surrounding the move. We used this to then write a diary from the perspective of Anne Frank on her first night in the Annex.
