Today in science we set up an investigation called ‘the floating paperclip’. We began by reminding ourselves what a magnetic field was. After that we used 2 magnets to explore the north and south poles and find out which poles attracted and which repelled. We were given a piece of string, a paper clip and a magnet. In our group, we used our scientific knowledge from what we have learnt so far to carry out the experiment and use systematic observations to report the findings!
