Arts Week
This week we have been taking part in Arts Week. We have had lots of fun experiences in art, music, drama, dance and storytelling, we have even seen a rapper perform! On Monday, Made for Music came to work with us and told us the story of Funny Bones, they used music to tell the story and we joined in with musical activities. We have also taken part in dance workshops with Phoenix Dance theatre, where we learnt how to express emotions through music, movement and facial expressions. In class, we have been making skeletons in a range of ways; we have made collages, moving pictures and used natural materials outside to be creative. We have also learnt how to make music through body percussion by making sounds with our mouths and other parts of our body.
