Learning in the outdoors
As a school we see the value in offereing children acces to learning in many different ways. With this in mind we are working to offer more opportunities for the children to acess their learning outside. We set challenges every week to allow the children to apply their learning from lessons in different ways and we are now looking to offer more of these challenges in the outdoor area as well. The children have taken to this with great enthusiasm and are able to encorperate their learning objectives within their chosen acitivites.
This week we have been investigating, Floating and sinking, Numbers bonds to twenty, counting to 20 and beyond and exploring different materials.
