Art - clay pots 07.01.2024
To practice our skills with clay before producing our final pieces, we started by practicing manipulating the clay using our thumbs, palms and heels of our hands. We did this by producing a 'pinch pot' which involves using our fine motor skills to build a pot from a ball of clay using our thumbs and fingers - just like real ceramicists do! We also had a go at the 'coil pot' by rolling out the clay into sausages and wrapping it around our base.
