Henri Rousseau 23.09.24
Our new art topic:
In Art, we have started studying Henri Rousseau. Rousseau was a French painter best known for his landscape paintings of the rainforest.
In our lessons this week, we have been having a go at some observational drawings. We started by looking at some different shading techniques such as scumbling and stippling. We then drew the outline of some animals and plants from the rainforest and then used our developed shading skills to add detail.
We think Year 5 did a fantastic job! Have a look at some of our work below!
