In our second history lesson on Ancient Egypt, we looked at all areas of Ancient Egyptian life: writing, farming and food, transport and trade, religion and Pharaohs. We first learnt about when the Ancient Egyptian civilisation began (in 3100 BCE) and created a human timeline. After that, we worked in groups and each person became an ‘expert’ on one area. We each learnt about one of the 5 areas and then reported back to our groups with what we had learnt. We then created a huge mindmap as a table!
