History (Stonehenge) 10.10.2024

Today in history, the children learnt about Stonehenge, where it was and the theories behind how it was built. They were absolutely fascinated to learn about how heavy the stones will have been and that it was near enough impossible to have been built by humans due to the location in which the stones travelled from. We then headed outdoors to build mini Stonehenge's and then completed a class challenge of building one model as a team - which proved very difficult!
