Local Walk 18.03.25
Today, Year 2 explored their local area of Farsley. On our walk, the children were on the lookout for human and physical features, identifying things such as buildings, roads, hills and parks. Back in the classroom, we used what we discovered to compare Farsley with Beijing which we have been learning about in Geography. We reflected on the similarities and differences of the two places, discussing features such as Farsley's quiet streets and green spaces versus Beijing's bustling cityscape and modern skyline.
