Measuring 14.03.25
This week Year 2 have been exploring measurement. Today, we took our learning outside putting our skills to the test in a hands-on activity around the playground. Armed with metre sticks, measuring wheels and string the children experimented with different tools to measure distance and objects. They discovered lots of fascinating facts about our playground, from its length and width to the size of various features within it. We were very impressed with their enthusiasm, teamwork and impressive accuracy when measuring!
