Year 3 and 4 have the Xmas Factor

This week Year 3 and 4 shared their nativity performance at a dress rehearsal and two evening performances.   The singing sounded fantastic as the children had worked hard to learn lots of songs and there were some super solos. To add to the musical theme there was a group of percussionists accompanying the singing and even some kazoo playing!  Some children had a huge amount of lines to learn and all the children acted their parts really well.  The children showed dedication and commitment over a number of weeks as they worked towards having the show ready.  This was particularly evident when it came to the performances; there were lots of children with colds and coughs who battled through and gave it their best.  There were also a couple of children with main parts who were really poorly; Tomos came in both evenings to do his part despite spending the days in bed ill and Oliver stepped in at last minute (45 minutes before the show!) to cover another main part as unfortunately someone else was poorly.  It really was a case of ‘the show must go on’ so a massive well done to all the children; they really impressed the staff and we were very proud of them all.
