Today we had a plant day for Year 3!

This half term, our science unit is all about plants so we thought we would take advantage of the space here at Springbank and have an outdoors day to consolidate our learning. We began the day with a science lesson on the 5 things plants need to survive, learning the acronym L (light) A (air) W (water) N (nutrients) S (soil). We then took part in 4 different activities today with the Year 3 team and with the help of Mrs Fletcher. We looked at seed dispersal, parts of the plant, dangerous plants and pollination.
