In writing this week, we have been learning about the 'perfect present tense' and how to use that in our sentences. In maths, we have been learning how to multiply a 2 and 3 digit number by a 1 digit. On Friday, we did some problem solving questions to really make our brains work! In Art we were learning about our new artist, Kathe Kollwitz and created a double page spread with facts and drawings in the style of her. She used charcoal as her medium and we will be also doing that in the weeks to come. In reading, we began our new book 'A girl who stole an elephant', we spent a lesson predicting what we thought would happen based on the clues and then spent time answering questions around Chapter 1. In Geography, we looked at the map of India, found the physical and human features and then using the resources in the classroom, made our own! In PE we have started our OAA unit and dance.
