What should I do if I think my child has SEN?

If you think your child might have SEN, speak to your child’s class teacher. You can contact them by email or ask the school office to pass on your request. You can also contact the SENCO directly by email s.grime@farsleyspringbank.co.uk | Your class teacher will meet with you to discuss your concerns and try to get a better understanding of what your child’s strengths and difficulties are. Together we will decide what outcomes to seek for your child and agree on next steps. We will make a note of what’s been discussed and add this to your child’s record. You will also be given a copy of this if requested. | If we decide that your child needs SEN support, we will develop a personalised SEN plan together and add your child to the SEN register. |
