As part of our exciting new topic on the Romans, Year 4 recently embarked on a fantastic trip to Murton Park. The day was packed with hands-on activities that brought history to life. The children had the opportunity to write like Romans using ancient Roman script they also fought like Romans, participating in engaging reenactments of Roman battles.
The trip offered a unique chance for the children to learn all about Roman life, culture, and history. With the knowledge gained from the visit, our Roman topic after the half-term is sure to be even more exciting!
