Spring 1 Week 4
Year 2 have had another jam-packed week!
In maths, we have begun introducing multiplication and division. The children have been learning to recognise equal and unequal groups and to share amounts into groups. If your child would like to practise their times tables at home, they can log into TTRS (using the same login details as Numbots).
In writing, the children imagined they were Florence Nightingale and wrote diary entries. We have been extremely impressed by their creativity and the pride they are taking in their presentation.
In DT, we had the opportunity to taste-test a range of vegetables that may be included in a couscous salad. The children rated each item and we were very impressed with everyone’s openness and willingness to try new and unfamiliar foods.
