Year 1 kicked off their new learning challenge with a fiery bang as they explored the Great Fire of London!
After discovering key facts about the 1666 fire, the children investigated Tudor-style houses, then got creative building their own using cardboard and paint. Once their mini village was complete, the highlight of the day arrived—setting it alight to see how quickly the fire could spread, just like it did in old London.
