Spring 2 Week 6
This week in Maths, we revisited previous topics including addition and subtraction using the tens and ones method. We also looked again at multiplication and division. It was really beneficial to revisit and practise these methods to continue building confidence and fluency when tackling arithmetic questions.
In Writing, we continued exploring the poem “My Dragon Kite”. The children each used their own scarves to think about movement and verbs to describe movement before creating their own dragon kite poems.
In Art, we finished our Willow Pattern plates. We were blown away by the care and intricate detail that both classes included in their work.
We also loved seeing all of the decorated eggs this year and enjoyed looking at the wonderful creations made across the whole school.
We have had another wonderful half term. We hope you all have a restful Easter and we look forward to seeing you next half term!
