The whole school was a hive of activity this morning as the children worked in mixed age groups to make their scarecrows to enter into Farsley's Scarecrow Festival. As always the children were extremely creative in their design ideas and worked incredibly well in their teams to come up with one final design idea. The morning flew by and we ended up with about 30 fabulous scarecrows! Thank you to all the parents and carers who came into school to help the children; we couldn't have done it without you as it was all hands on deck. Have a look at the photos to see our final entries and look out for them around Farsley next weekend!
The Springbank School Council had its first meeting today. The children were really excited to come together and brought with them lots of ideas about what they want to achieve. They looked at what the school council is responsible for and decided on some agenda items for the next meeting, to take back to their classes.
