Year 3 recently enjoyed an exciting geography fieldwork trip to Pudsey town centre, where they brought their classroom learning to life! During a guided walk around the area, the children carefully observed and identified different types of land use, linking directly to their current geography topic. They explored examples of leisure, commercial, residential, industrial and even agricultural spaces, developing their understanding of how land is used within a local environment. The children showed great enthusiasm and curiosity, asking thoughtful questions and making excellent observations along the way. To round off a fantastic trip, everyone enjoyed some well-earned time playing in the park, making it a fun and memorable day for all!
