Year 4 Kirkstall Abbey walk
Year 4 children had a great morning going on their first walking trip. They set off from school down to Rodley and then along the canal all the way to Kirkstall Abbey. They were very lucky with the weather and also saw plenty of ducks, swans, dogs and canal boats to keep them entertained on their trip. The children had great stamina and plenty of energy left after their 4.8 mile walk for a play on the ruins at Kirkstall Abbey with a picnic. We are very proud of all the children and they can be proud of themselves too.
