3L enjoyed a fantastic walk to Shipley Glen. The children spent around two hours exploring the woods, tackling some challenging inclines and walking alongside the historic tramway path. Halfway through the walk, the class stopped at Roberts Park for a picnic and the opportunity to explore the beautiful gardens. It was wonderful to see the children identifying a range of flowers and plants and confidently sharing the knowledge they have developed during their outdoor learning sessions. The children had a fantastic time and represented the school brilliantly throughout the trip. It was lovely to see them being so active, curious and enthusiastic whilst enjoying the great outdoors together.
