KS2 experience virtual reality delivered by Google's Tech Team
On Friday 30th September Farsley Springbank was visited by the tech team from Google who delivered a virtual reality day for all the children in KS2. "Google Expeditions" are collections, scenes or virtual reality panoramas — 360° photo spheres, 3D images and video — annotated with details, highlights, and questions for the children to discuss. The children explored various parts of the planet wearing headsets which immersed them under the sea, by the pyramids in Egypt and even stood them alongside the first men on the moon! It was an absolutely brilliant experience and a lesson that I'm sure the children will remember for a long time!
